The Polish Ministry of Finance has published new figures on the development of the Polish rental market
In the last month of 2016 the Ministry of Finance published the number of taxpayers, who have declared income from the leases or subleases in year 2015.
The amount of taxpayers who declare their income is increasing by more than 40.000 each year – in 2015 there were more than 611.000 taxpayers. Therefore, the turnover in private rental market as well as the tax income has increased significantly.
At least 10% of the turnover, which have already exceeded 9.6 billion in 2015, is spent on minor repairs, equipment, service brokers, accountants, photographers, and finally cleaning and management.
A stable and dynamic growth of the rental market is mostly due to individual investors. There is also a group of people that has revenues solely from the leases.
The first institutional investor’s offer – Rental Housing Fund, appeared just in 2015 - 380 apartments in Poznan, Gdansk and Piaseczno.
