One of the main concerns of RentalCal is to take into account possible effects on the market value of buildings when evaluating the economic impact of energy performance improvements carried out. Providing fundamental knowledge for the consideration of energy performance in real estate valuation was also an area of research in the project ‘RenoValue’, which has recently been finalised.

The RentalCal project incorporates possible influencing factors regarding on real estate value into the devlopment of ist profitability assessment tool.
The newly commenced project ReValue project seeks to develop a foundation for integrating improvements to the energy performance of buildings into the valuation process.
The objective is – similar to RentalCal - to convince investors of the economic advantages of energy retrofits and motivate them to take appropriate measures.
